David Haye? Why not? Parker needs to face a challenge outside of NZ, check out the lion's den. Ruiz will always be an underdog and sooner, or later, his body will betray him. Even if Ruiz beats Parker, he's still an underdog. The UK will be harder to conquer than NZ.

What has Ruiz done? Beat 40 year old shot fighters? Haye is actually more deserving than him and I think Haye would drill Ruiz.Great news to get the fight finally signed off.
But..David Haye? What has he done to earn a shot? Mashing the Mark De Mori's of the world shouldn't be a lead-in to a title fight.
Still, should Parker win, Haye will likely have to wait the maximum time to challenge - Joshua-Parker for the IBF is next (assuming Joshua still has the title).Comment

Ok so David Haye wormed his way back into a title shot, I guess this was the big announcement he was talking about.
Does that mean he will fight another pie December 10th?Comment

Excellent! Now all the titles are scattered throughout the division and we have to wait 2-3 years for these "champions" to fight each other. This is exactly what I wanted as a boxing fan. Ridiculous organization. How the heck did Parker become #1 and Wlad be #2 in the first place? And Haye?!? Who has he fought to get such a ranking? Just pathetic.Comment

Uhhh, Joshua and Parker have a March deadline for their IBF mandatory. How the hell is Parker going to fit in 2,3 or 4 title defenses of the WBO before then? If he wins it in December, and needs even a minimum 8 week camp (which is still undercooking) for a potential unification fight with Joshua, Parker would have effectively two months from the day he wins the WBO, to take voluntaries. 4 voluntary defenses in 2 months? Get the **** outta here.
I think you need to get a calendar dude. And a clue - you think Parker would vacate the title before fighting Haye? Come on man. Parker and DUCO were happy to fight Joshua in November, but stepped aside for Hearn to chase the big dollars (and fair enough).Last edited by KillaCamNZ; 10-20-2016, 02:45 PM.Comment

Not a whole lot, but at least he's been active.
Ruiz has beaten three outta three nobodies this year.
David Haye has beaten two outta two nobodies in the last four years.Comment
