Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew: I'm NOT a Walk in The Park For David Haye

WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew believes David Haye has no other choice but to face him in the first quarter of next year. This past Saturday night, Haye was sitting ringside at the Echo Arena in Liverpool and watched his close friend BJ Flores get knocked out in three rounds by Bellew (28-2-1, 18KOs) - who was making the first defense of the title he captured back in May in Goodison Park with a brutal third round knockout of Ilunga Makabu. Flores was knocked down four times before the contest was waved off.

yeah mate, early KO written all over it. Theres a SLIGHT chance bellew could land first, but there was also a SLIGHT chance that audley harrison could land first on haye. Thinking about it if its at heavy im not even sure bellew could knock him out, hayes that much bigger than him. Basically bellew is getting destroyed lol

Walks in the park usually go on longer than 3 minutes, which Bellew won't.

wow this is amazing everyone is agreeing for once... Haye blasts Bellew in or one drags him out for 3 like the Harrison fight but i doubt that because they were friends and Haye probably had mates putting money on round 3

wish i was hayes mate so he could tell me what round to bet my house on for this one because he can choose when to finish Bellew

Bellew must be the first "best cruiserweight in the world" that i would easily put money on 2 light heavies to stay at their own weight to face him at his weight and they'd win by easy ko

heck Haye would blow out Adonis Stevenson and Kovalev on the same night so why is this fight even being discussed, its a farce

Bellew's head is so far up his ass.

How can he possibly think that he beats Haye?

I think Haye flattens him, i can't really see any other outcome.

The only chance i see Bellew having is landing the perfect shot very early in the fight before Haye does and somehow KO's Haye. I do think Bellew has enough power to hurt one of the smaller HW's like Haye if he connected flush and they ran straight into it.

But realistically, you would have to say as soon as Haye lands, it's over.

This is supposed to be at HW, right? Why on earth would Bellew want that when he was getting worked over by a cruiser until he smashed his testicles.
Makes absolutely no sense unless Tony is completely cashing out. Or, unless he's just trying to get his name in the press and plans to blow off this fight.
