This fight should go to a purse bid, but Jacobs obviously has no intention on fighting any more this year, It's not like he's going to get stripped of his "belt" anyway. You catch more bees with honey than you do with salt, so negotiating for a later date is probably best if your ultimate goal is to fight the guy. Making 12/10 a deadline, knowing fully well he won't do it can lead to negotiations falling through the cracks completely.

Mosley and Oscar are the ones who avoided the fight..Manny declined testing in 2010(oh and floyd is older then him)..Zab Judah??? 2tf they were both prime when they fought..Cotto's team declined the fight when both were champs at 140..Margo fight didnt happen because of Arum and Williams was never in the position to fight Floyd
