Man, boxing sucks so bad at times. No wonder it is a niche sport becoming even more niche with every passing year.
Very true and its why they'll continue to lose market share to UFC with each passing year.

Looks like I'll be attending the McGregor vs Alvarez UFC fight @ MSG in NYC instead!

The WBA would probably strip him if he did that - fuuukin organizations.

Jacobs pulled a Patriots type tactic. He recorded Canelo and after having him on film and studying him, he decided to execute the same play.

              Jacobs be like: Got eeem!

                Back In Gym

"....it's not a fat farm." lol
BTW On Oct. 2 Jacobs tweeted: back in gym ready for whoever's next. Danny probly meant he was "almost ready"

I can't recall the last time a fighter had 4 belts (WBA, IBF, IBO, WBC) and no one wanted to challenge him !! GGG has his haters, but hell even they'll have to admit that for Martinez,Cotto, Canelo, Saunders, Eubank, Froch, and now Jacobs to say "no" or "not right now" to a match against Golovkin means alot. People can no longer knock his resume' because it makes GGG look even better when you look at the list of fighters that have side-stepped him. Everyone's afraid they'll get wrecked !!
So why not move up and fight quality fighters that will actually fight him. His "haters" have long since acknowledged that the top middleweights don't wanna fight him. We just don't see it as an excuse to continually fight ****ty competition.

Kell Brook was in a win win situation. Big money to fight against a guy he is supposed to lose to. No real heroism there. Question is, why is it that Trip isn't an attraction in the US. A lot of foot traffic on threads, but he doesn't generate much revenue for HBO to draw fighters in. Low reward for any JMW or MW.
