    Does GGG throw early rounds???

I've been re watching some GGG fights and he seems to be a completely different fighter in the early rounds. He leaves himself wide open and engages in fan friendly skirmishes. He goes from 10-100 MPH once he hits the 6th round, I'm almost positive he is throwing early rounds for exposure and "mexican stye" war mentality

The only fight I didn't see him do this was against Lemeuix, it may be because Lemeuix was a true threat from a power perspective.

"Not sure what you're on about, he's barely lost any rounds early or not. He typically feels out his opponent for a round or two, like most all fighters, then goes from there. He's more or less the same fighter throughout the fight - he has a methodical hunt you down style of fighting which usually starts to break down his opponents after the first four rounds, some times sooner.

He is typically more cautious against some fighters such as Lemeuix like you said or Stevens, perhaps it has to do with their power or at least perceived power, with other fighters he doesn't give a damn like Rubio or Geale or Maclin and just walks through them."

He may be winning early rounds but he doesn't seem concerned about winning early rounds, he's a different fighter in the second half of the fight. I think he does it for viewership and ratings, fans are upset when they buy a PPV and it's over in 30 seconds

Yeah dude, I have no idea what you're watching. Don't think he lost any of the first 2 rounds before the Brook fight. It's actually exact opposite of what you're saying. 90% of the time he's sharp for first 2-3 rounds, then he takes his foot off the gas. That's why people argue whether he gets hit on purpose in later rounds to prolong the fight.

The only time I saw the situation reversed was against Brook. He was taking it easy first 2 rounds, then in the early 3rd he came out with vengeance. He still got hit, but he was wayyyyyyyyyyyy more aggressive.

Yep but he landed a left hook that almost finished the fight in the first. I think that's where he broke Brook's eye. That hook was out of the world.

Gennady is always a cautious boxer when the fight begins. It takes him from half a round to two rounds to evaluate his opponent, his power, speed and IQ. Sometimes he can intentionally leave an opening to see if the opponent takes an opportunity immediately or if he is hesitant. That sort of knowledge would then help him to mount his attack effectively without unnecessary risk.

Lol people love Golovkin so much they don't want to admit it takes a while for him to get his timing down against his opponents

                Except that's
                a) Been proven mostly false - see hook against Brook, aggressive domination vs. Lemieux, domination vs. Wade, and the KD against Monroe.
                b) Every single other fighter usually takes a round to get their timing right. From Ward, to Floyd, to Butterbean.
