    Tarver vs Hopkins?

Hey gang, I was just sitting here in between classes and got to thinking; what does Tarver gain by beating BHops(if he does)? I just do not see how it will help his career any, Hops has been a career long middleweight, is 41 years old, and showed during his last few fights(Taylor fights) that he is not as spunky as he used to be. Do you guys see any good from a Tarver win? besides money.

Nothing good except he can continue to run around thinking he is a legend killer, but Duane Ford did that for him in the first Taylor/Hopkins fight so he really gains nothing but Money.I really hope Tarver steps it up and fights Calzaghe by years end.

To Tarver's defense he started his pro career late and wasn't always getting top dollars so it's very practical he's 37 and is tryna get the big paydays berore he's to old. I can't fault him for that because anybody would wanna live comforatably forever if they could,he also said since the Hopkins/Tayor were so close it's not like he's totally shot!

sorry but tarver will lose and if he was to win it will make him look like a bully for picking on that old/young ass B Hop....But on the cool playa, I really see B Hop winning this one via KO in the later round....

It means he erases another big name from the sport. I say let him do it. Tarver is the clean up man, ridding our sport of crybabies and phonies

i'm a fan of hopkins, but in order for him to win he has to be first and let his hands go. he's got to pull the trigger and let the leather fly.
tarver is going to sit back and wait for something to happen like he always does. this fight has the potential of either being really great or really weak and boring. i hope it's a great showing with hopkins winning the fight and retiring with a win in his last fight.....
