Kassim Ouma question

I did not see the De La Hoya/Mayorga PPV.But understandably,everyone who did is talking about Oscars great victory.No one has really mentioned the Ouma fight.I know that Kassim won a SD.But how did he look?Was it really that close?Was it a fair decision?Thanks!

He got knocked down in the first but seemed to come alive after that.It was a rather boring fight IMO but I think he won a fair decision albeit a fairly close one.

Honestly he won just about every round except the first one. Not sure how it was a split decision

I gave it to him by 117-110. He outclassed Rubio apart from the knockdown

The fight wasnt close at all in my opinion. Ouma was knocked down in the first and won just about every round after that. I think it was ridiculous that fight was a split decision, i just cant see how someone had Rubio winning more than like 3 rounds tops. I had Rubio winning 1 round an dthat was the first. Ouma deffinately won that fight though.

Yeah after the knock down it was all Ouma, the one judge musta been watching a different fight.

Ouma started the fight with the wrong gameplan, but lucky for him....Rubio was like a deer in headlights. After the first round and the knockdown(s). He started getting really hesitant to let his hands go, and that's a sign of nerves. He was overwhelmed by the pressure of the crowd...as thoughts of how well as how Ouma survived that huge bomb he landed.

Therefore, Ouma adapted his gameplan to a work of art. All he did was take the fight to Rubio landing shot, after shot, after shot. He was hitting him cleanly the entire fight and I was amazed at how Rubio only had 1 mouse and a black eye. It's not like Ouma is a really hard puncher, but the accumulation of shots should have really ****ed his face up.

I don't see how the one judge scored it for Rubio though. I had the fight one sided in favor of Ouma.

Huge victory for Kassim in my opinion....because I thought very highly of Rubio as a fighter, and even went to the extent to pick him to win the fight. I thought he was due, and I was dissapointed in his performance.

ouma won every round but the 1st , he was kd and appeared hurt, but he got over it

rubio got the first and 8 or 9 (cant remember) so he gots 3 rounds(+2 on knockdown and +1 the other round). i dont know what happens to rubio..ouma was attacking after the first round and he cant use his height and reach advantage to counter that.
