So now his defensive capabilities encapsulates an entirely different style? Because even when he's utilizing his defensive tools he remains one dimensional in his offense, since he doesn't stop coming forward.

Well being passive against bigger men that have reach over you is pretty ******...so yeah I expect him to go to WAR at this weight ; in recent interviews hes said its only going to get tougher for him basically you and everyone knows size is a factor in combat...and as a challenger you have to take the risk...in his case it paid off but now the focus is on the damage but still its perfectly normal at this level in 50-50 fights.

If I am Gonzalez I go Inoue, Cuadras 2, then estrada 2. But you got to respect him giving Cuadras a rematch 1st.
Highlighted part is so true. Fights like that take a chunk off your prime and while going straight back to fight him again takes balls, I think it is pretty dumb. Not that I don't think they should rematch, but back to back fights like that have a tendency to end careers early. That said, anything I want to see is a tough fight for him.

I think we will look back and realize that 115 for Gonzalez was like 130 for Morales-just a lil bit too much weight.

Frankly, I'd want to fight Inoue in the best shape possible. It seems clear that Honda favors Inoue (for any number of reasons) and taking another 12 rounds with Cuadras or Estrada before Inoue doesn't seem like the best plan.

Maybe the thinking is that he knows what Cuadras can do so the 2nd fight will be easier-ala Floyd/Castillo or Floyd/maidana.

          Risky move by Gonzalez.

I mean, GGG is damn near in his mid 30's and he's still doing his best Floyd rendition as well without having a single worthy name on his resume lol... I guess u bring up an interesting point... What's going on with these boxers nowadays? They all want to be Floyd so bad apparently.
yes its safe to say that floyd ruined boxing. fighters in the past probably just didn't realize they could get away with this kind of sh-it because boxing is so unregulated with no structure, but floyd used his genius to con everyone

Chocolatito is unique. However, he must plan his strategy very carefully to avoid taking unnecessary premature dangerous risky fights, like the Cuadras rematch.

He should fight somebody less physical, and less technical in February, in Managua, in February 2017, and have the wealthy or, the wealthiest men in Nicaragua to fully sponsor this fight. He needs to built more strength and power before he will be able to dominate the super flyweigth division. Calling Freddie Roach ?. Calling Pacqiao ?

Chocolate is the super flyweight star, with very realistic possibilities to win a 5th crown with an intelligent manager, and an honest training camp willing to admit they failed to help Roman to build the strength to K.O a bigger, but less technical boxer call Cuadras.

I favor Cuadras in the rematch. Can't wait that first fight was fight of the year candidate for sure.
