DAVID HAYE has warned Tony Bellew he won't be able to back up his taunts at heavyweight. Haye, the former cruiserweight and heavyweight king, was left stunned at ringside when Bellew launched an attack on him after the Liverpool fighter stopped BJ Flores in three rounds.

Davey loves this publicity though, it's only good for him. Bellew doing him favors without knowing it.

Bellew is as much of a knock-over job for Haye as DeMori and 'The Cobra'. Bellew is literally inferior to Haye in every aspect of the art of boxing. His only chance is to get fantastically lucky with a few big shots, but a) we don't even know if his power will carry up to HW and b) Haye has taken big shots from Chisora, Klitschko and many other career heavyweights. His chin is actually pretty damn solid.

If Bellew thought Adonis Stevenson hit hard, wait till he cops a right hook off Haye. The fight goes 2-3 rounds max.

Yeah everything that is wrong with boxing yet here you are fighting BJ Flores whilst a 9-0 Simon Vallily was fighting the most dangerous guy at 200lbs....
It took a 9-0 guy to fight someone who Bellew should have been fighting kind of says it all doesn't it?
Simon Vallily should have been the one fighting BJ Flores there was a clear mismatching con show going on with this card at the weekend because there is just no god damn way should a guy who has only fought 9 times be fighting a ranked top 3 cruiserweight in the world!
It's neither Simon or Breidis fault either, Breidis just wanted to fight Bellew but Bellew would rather get soft touches easy defenses and you can't blame Simon because he likely will never get such a huge fight ever again I just feel hard done for the guy because he never stood a damn chance.

Bellew isn't the guy you want to see him fight, Haye would decapitate him.

That Cobra guy who Haye fought is one of the biggest mysteries of modern boxing for me. Undefeated in 30 contests?

                How?

Genuinely think there were probably guys in the crowd 10 pints into a session that could have matched his performance against Haye. Not one to disrespect boxers but he must be better than that. It looked like he won the opportunity to fight Haye in a box of cereal.

Bellew is right to coat Haye for it, IMO. It actually looked like a dangerous mismatch.

To be clear, it's quite obvious Bellew just wants the big payday Haye brings. But then Haye himself hasn't done anything to prove himself in ions, so really we have a 2 person comedy show after the Flores fight.

As for Bellew, I'm seeing some power, but I'm still looking for some technique 3 fights into watching him closer. Is there something I'm missing? And what's the story with all this grandstanding like a WWF event? I don't get it.

I've got no problem with Bellew fighting Haye - it's a fan friendly fight meaning lots of money for each and Bellew loses but he'll still carry on at CW.

Bellew saying that Haye is everything that is wrong with boxing is a bit rich after Haye's run at CW. Haye has a better track record than Bellew. But he has a point criticising Haye's last 2 outings and his inactivity.
