I have been a fan of both and agree with you. Amazing!

Hard to say which was my favorite but I think the 2nd and last one.

There will always be an asterisks in my book though about the last fight since Marquez had a known PEDs cheat in his corner ....

lets save the excuses man,it really is a weak attempt to damper a mans win especially when he is the one who demanded drug testing only to be turned down by Manny...So thats Karma

Can't green you or I would. It was all you can ask for as a boxing fan, great rivalry and ended in the best way possible. Great post.

Marquez needed 4 tries, a PED guru and a lucky punch to do it, but he finally beat Pacquiao

Why do you have to post excuses instead of appreciated a great series of fights?

              What?

Unless its already in the contract, Marquez new that his words were empty words. Especially when it was said weeks before a fight. The promoter had already stated all this. It would have taken time to agree and get the testing program set up.

The biggest thing that sticks out to me is Pac's evolution throughout the series. He was downright crude in the first, using two punches to build a whole fight. Like the Ramones, he was surprisingly effective in his simplicity.
In the last, he had a greater arsenal and was leading the fight. But, as is often the tale in boxing, confidence lead to carelessness and the grasshopper landed himself right in the spider's web.
Legendary quadrilogy (?) and one that will be talked about for years to come.

Not enough boxing technique. Too much wild swinging and rooster fighting. Not enough slipping punches and parrying. Entire fight series, 2/10. Will never watch again.

#48 is the worst thing that happened to boxing in the last decade, a fabrication at all costs because Arum lost Floyd he didn't mind and acted ******, along with HBO, allowing roids and Toradol in the BG. Many NSB vets here were either naive and immune to Network goonery or not knowing the limits of boxing's political power which is why many are in denial. Hauser is a perfect example of goonery.

I still have a strong bet one day Pac will come out and spill the beans when finally enlightened... it will happen. Arum will have to pass away first if anything. Koncz that snake piece of sht. Arum and Koncz on that Emron Exec. goonery sht along with HBO..

                    Boxing, the non regulated sport.

Why all this? Because we can't fall back on classic bouts and praise other legends without providing Manny an excuse or benefit of the doubt. Dogmatic...yet after May 2nd and present Pacquiao says the dumbest sht yeah....he's immune from PEDs...

The reality is many won't accept Pac roided because it takes aways more than a decade of their own personal life only to actually realize how the world works..
