The point is that Lara, Degale and Jack have all been spoken about in this thread, and all in connection with GGG.

GGG, Lara, DeGale and Jack have something in common ... they have all fought in one division only. But only GGG is being shat on for it.

    That's the point I'm making.
You really think Lemieux, Brook, and Murray would not have lost to Dirrell?

Btw, golovkin lost to Dirrell in the amateurs, so you actually just gave Degale a compliment...good job.

I have never called or considered Golovkin a p4p king, you people have taken Sanchez's words and attributed them to everyone else except for the only man to actually say that out of the camp. As far as getting schooled, everyone ain't Floyd..every fighter has a boogieman, even better fighters than Floyd took L's. I'll tell you this though, Ward, Lara, Alvarez, Cotto, Floyd, Froch, Hopkins and plenty more have popped shh but these same highly esteemed fighters, not a single one of them has actually tried to legitimately make a fight and expose him and that stands for something.
Floyd's moved up 4 times...why does he need to beat golovkin to convince anyone he's an ATG? And even if he took the fight, beat golovkin every Rd, NO ONE would give him credits, all you GayLoveKin fans would f'n jump ship that night, change your sn's, and start saying he was overrated anyway.

Ward? Really? You're a total ignoramus to even bring his name up....gotta be at 164 for him.

Froch is old, and passed his best by several years.

      Alvarez, I don't care.

Cotto was 153 vs geale, hardly a very big guy and would be just another case of beating a better caliber of fighter that was much too small, but taking credit like he just beat a HW (Cotto is also passed his best as well).

You know, we keep hearing all this bull**** about Golovkin beating up these big guys in sparring, so why doesn't he fight the ward Kovalev winner? Why doesn't he attempt to sign a fight with Jack or Degale? Not like he can't move right back down to continue beating WW's and bums in search of his "unification" after taking a loss.

At LW Floyd was a genuine top 3 PFP fighter, maybe the best in his own era, though not ATG. At WW he was a protected, molly-coddled hype job.

        And at 154 ... bwahahaha!

Mayweather fought Maidana flat-footed, you mug.

Maidana was a cherry-picked "look-good" opponent who Floyd expected to Gatti, instead Maidana took it to Mayweather and did much better than expected.

You clowns called for a rematch, and we all saw what happened when Mayweather fought his natural style.

Brook is actually a better fighter than Maidana, but would have no chance against Mayweather due to his more conventional style.

You are dreaming if you think the guy who struggled with Carson Jones could beat Mayweather.

        Learn the sport.

          sure ^^

but that is nothing great to crow about

especially from a guy who ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"

isn't Golovkin supposed to be better than Lara, DeGale and Jack ?

            what a wanker

he CLEARLY ducked TWO legitimate offers from Ward

he OBVIOUSLY could have taken the 10mil for Canelo.

            wankers SMH

Here i'll sum it up for you...

*Floyd: I mentioned Floyd because he's up here every week taking shots. He's such easy work..cool. Prove it. Didn't say Floyd needed the fight to validate him so please don't attribute words to me I never actually said. My point is everyone pops shhhh about how the guy is a hypejob they just don't want to be the ones to get it done.

              * Ward: Ironically like the typical dumb @zz poster on here you ignore the facts and present what you want. 164? All Abel, came from his mouth and his mouth only. Last I checked Sanchez trains Golovkin he doesn't negotiate. Ward offered to release emails? Did he? Nope. Why? If he was SOOOOO OFFENDED then why not? When HBO wanted a return on Andre in 2014 they tried to make the fight he said NO. Hell rest in peace to his old promoter who acknowledged as much...but again don't let the ACTUAL FACTS get in the way.

*Froch: So now Froch is old? Is that the excuse? Didn't he just finish battering Groves twice? And then did what? Went on Twitter and said what? Let's leave it at that...he choked.

*Cotto: As a Cotto fan the weight nonsense is an excuse, Cotto walks around at the same exact weight as Golovkin these days, he went for the cash just like Sergio went for the cash rather than fight Golovkin. I'm cool with that but i'm not cool with the garbage about he's too small, he's got advantages where he fights and that's why he fights where he does...just like every fighter.

*Sparring: As I pointed out to your reading incapable self (Quote 2011: "I dream of being unified champion, this is everything to me" - Gennady Golovkin) So lets not act like for the past half decade this man hasn't been on record stating what he's still trying to do. Yet you want him to go chase people up to light heavyweight. Cool. Show me one other boxer in the entire sport you are making the same demands of. Just one my nig...ONE. They've discussed fighting Degeale, Jack just came into the discussion because (See bullet point number one). You asking those guys to move up to cruiser and fight those guys? No. So i'm calling hypocrisy here. Do I have an issue with him moving up? Nope not at all. But let's take all the facts into account, this man has been fkd by this sport despite how you guys perceive him. Man sat in limbo for 6 years because he was european talent, just like Kovalev. He was a stand out amateur. The lineal championship has skipped past him on five, count em FIVE occasions because of well politics and money.

Sergio somehow beats Murray (who golovkin would've taken the belts from)
              Sergio loses to Cotto
Cotto becomes lineal, demands a tune up fight, graciously they permit it
Cotto Wins and decides, nah i'm going to go fight Canelo instead
Cotto fights Canelo, loses, the promise of fighting Golovkin next gets voided as does payment
Canelo fights Khan, gets WBC permission to fight Khan - avoids Golovkin
              Canelo vacates

Now you tell me, you in that situation...how bad would you want that belt cuz? 3 years bruh..he's been waiting three years. How can you as a fan accept the fact this man hasn't had a shot at being the lineal 160 champion (fine you can argue about his resume) but show me one fighter at 160 who deserves it more. For fksake Khan, Geale (a guy he literally destroyed!), Cotto, and Canelo all got a shot at the shh without a single reason to deserve the shot. But it's cool, I know it's easier to sit up there and rip into the guy rather than root for him. Call me old school but i'll happily roll with the underdog in this situation. I've seen my fair share of fighters getting shots at belts they have no reason fighting for and yet this dude has to literally sell his first born for the same right.

                RUBBISH !!

"The fight is No.1, not for money, not for business," Golovkin said. "I want the fight. My focus is 160. This is my goal to hold all the belts. Andre, I don’t understand if he’s 168 or 175. I don’t know. He works at 168. I’m 160. I think [fighting in the] middle is very correct, not 160, not 168. 164 is very correctly. Like 50-50, 50-50 money. Maybe he [Ward] has more people a long time ago, two, three years ago. Right now, he’s new. People forget him."

and if Sanchez only trains Golovkin, what does Loeffler do?

Tom Loeffler is the public face of K2, Olegg is the money man. It's hilarious how you people come out of the woodwork with your links and bullshh. Go ahead and find the Hersch quotes that he was going to discuss the fight with Ward in 2014...or better yet Ward's handlers at the time talking about how he didn't want to fight. Bet you don't come up with those though. So yeah i'll be wrong because ya'll live in lala land. Notice how long that post was and what you centered in on as well, had no argument for the rest of if but keep on hoisting Ward like he's some world ender when this is the only worthy of tuning in fight he's had in damn near 6 years.

the statement above is more than factually incorrect.....

in my opinion, that statement is blatantly dishonest !

it is clearly obvious that GOLOVKIN HIMSELF, as well as Loeffler and Sanchez, have been running that "anyone from 154-168" scam for YEARS

it is plainly obvious dude, and you know it

and don't dismiss my links, when they are direct quotes

and nobody is elevating Ward..... nobody needs to, because he is doing that himself

you GGG-fanboys all decided to bash and discredit Ward after the Golovkin/Ward fallout, the hate he gets on this website is beyond absurd and completely unwarranted..... all we are doing is righting the ship by reminding you guys that Ward > Golovkin, in EVERY department
