There you go. You take a long layoff without injuries or any valid reason to and you'll have instant excuse to take a tuneup fight. So expect the others to do the same, Peterson, Lara, Quillin, the other Charlo, Berto, Porter, etc. It's a viscious cycle. The obvious solution is to pay them what they deserve. Give them $80K or something for their comeback fights. I'm assuming Danny Garcia would get another $700K for this sparring session just like in the Salka fight.
