    Spence vs Berto

If Brook does what everyone is expecting him to do, drop the IBF title, Spence should abandon the IBF and fight Berto for the WBC #1 spot. Then the winner is Thurman vs Garcia would have to fight him.

You got Thurman naming fighters he wants to fight and not bringing up Spence name. Garcia fighting Spence leftovers. These guys ain't to eager to fight Spence so he has to position himself to force a fight with them. If he wins the IBF they'll say Jeff Horn was a nobody so he doesn't deserve a shot against them.

(I'm unclear on the WBC rules but Berto is ranked #1. I'm not sure if beating Berto would make Spence #1. Let me know if you know the answer)

Thurman has answered many questions regarding Spence publicly, and he knows that fight is there, but as he said, who has Spence fought to deserve the shot now? Thurman in theory has contributed to PBC's earnings, literally, far more than what Spence has provided for PBC. Behind closed doors I'm sure Haymon and those two know for this buildup, but Spence will have to wait until then.

Who has Thurman fought? I guess Porter is the name to have on your resume. Spence has beat Algieri & Bundu in far more impressive fashion than Pacquiao and Thurman. Before the Bundu fight Thurman made a sarcastic tweet saying he was interested to see how the fight would play out. After that KO you can't get Thurman to say Spence name

Spence ends Berto's career. Nobody at 147 will be calling out Spence.

hows spence going to fight anyone of note though, if top fighters say they dont need to fight him cause hes not beaten anyone of note? makes no sense and its just an excuse for them not to fight him. Not as if these guys fight murderers every fight either, got danny garcia saying spence doesnt deserve a shot cause he hasnt beaten anyone, yet he fights samuel vargas lol. Doubt thurmans going to fight some superstar next either

yeah but...you and I know very well on the term ''beaten fighter.'' And Bundu lost his L to Thurman. People were saying that Bundu was already old at the time or that perhaps Thurman had an off night.

I mean many of us say that Hatton had already been defeated by Floyd with a beautiful check hook and given him his first loss. HBO then glorified Pac for beating the dude with that L taken away by another master..

Speaking of Algieri, let's be honest. The amount of punishment Algieri took from Pac surely had an effect facing a powerful ass Southpaw like Spence. It was clear through the Pac fight that Algieri can't fancy Southpaws..

So in a nutshell, beating a seasoned 147 Bundu, a guy that did easy work on Gavin, who Brook fought....I mean Thurman is being underappreciated broheim...

And again, PBC has all this under the radar. Haymon has to build that fight for the sake of his brand

Thurman has mentioned that he wants to fight champions and unify, so you keep trying to make it seem like he's somehow scared of Spence, when what's happening is very clear. Also the tweet wasn't sarcastic, he said in an interview he was very impressed with Spence and it's only a matter of time before that happens.

NSB logic though, just because he's not screaming Spence's name, it means he's scared.

Spence should get the IBF title that way 3 of 4 belts can be unified in the PBC. If Arum is serious about working across the isle then maybe the welterweight division can be unified with all 4 belts.

Uncle Al can have a stranglehold on 3 of the 4 belts and a easy to make unification.

Spence fighting for the IBF makes the most sense regardless of what Brook does.... obviously Thurman would be happy to unify with Spence if he beat Garcia, Spence was a prospect until recently.

He also mentioned Vargas who is unavailable and probably won't be champ after the Pac fight. How is he gonna unify with a guy who already has a fight. He also mentioned Brook who's out until spring and he's Spence mandatory. If Spence gets that belt let's see if he's still wants to unify. He was checking for Spence before the Bundu fight but won't mention his name now. Spence is not accomplished than Thurman was when he was calling out Mayweather
