Tony Bellew vs. BJ Flores is a disappointing first defence.

And going off these rankings from July BJ Flores is ranked 26th by the WBC. Can you tell me what merited the jump up the rankings by 12 places between then and now?

You quoted the WBC rankings as if that's the be all and end all. Well, once this fight was made the WBC moved BJ Flores from #26 to #14 overnight. And the month before that he was #30.

to be fair bellew is basically a dead man walking after this fight

his choices are his mandatory (briedis), the WBC champ in recess (drozd), unification (lebedev/gassiev or usyk), or moving up to heavyweight (haye). each of them would likely smash him up

Hahaha yea I wasn't confident of winning lol I definitely to rate Flores, a past prime Danny green schooled him, I just don't rate bellew he's good a solid punch but that's about it, I just thought if there was gonna be an upset this weekend it would be this fight

The way things are now, this is how first defences go more often than not. Having said that, I've seen most challengers fight but I have never seen that Flores...the only time that's happened in recent history is when Ward faced that guy last time. So Flores must be ****.

Bellew takes it, probably on point as I've heard his chin is ok and he was in there with Shumenov at one stage.
