Yeah, I hope to see Danny tackle a stiff challenge at WW (Thurman) first. Without that, all I could do now is speculate about the manner in which he would crumple to the canvas at Canelo-weight (face-first, ass-first, hanging against the ropes, etc).

Canelo would smash him to bits. His resume if full of washed up fighters and hype jobs. Once he gets in the ring with a true savage he's done. Hence why Haymon keeps coddling this kid and feeding him safe bets. I'm no Thurman fan, but I think he does a number on Garcia's ass.

Garcia is pretty big between fights so him coming up the 7 pounds isn't really the issue, the issue is his power hasn't come up from 140 in that sense either. 8 maybe 9 rounds and he gets put to sleep.

As much as I can't stand "Team" Canelo, Canelo himself the fighter is a fkn beast in the ring and I don't think Garcia really wants that fight. Sounds like the cash out of DSG has begun. Surely they realize that they can't keep fighting the level of competition they have been without getting flack from the masses. So they are ready to fight the big names that can pay them the most. Kell did the same thing. Either lose to Spence for decent money or lose to GGG for a career payday. Fighters be flippin 0's now! Crazy!!
