Can you please get off the looks issue (maybe you do) you can't help but notice that ****...they thought Guerrero was more shot than he was, he was SUPPOSED to be a highlight reel....he wasn't. I didn't say Lucas won the fight, but fair and square? Are you ****ing serious with that? Berto? Floyd made him look easy, but for Garcia it's not worth the risk? However, Mayweather took ALL KINDS of **** about fighting berto...double standard? I think Danny just wasn't too sure he'd beat him, so he ducked him. That's the truth. Garcia is a total joke.

I'm almost certain he could have had a stay busy fight of higher caliber this fight make Garcia Vs. Berto look good I wasn't happy about Berto Vs. Garcia being lined up but in retrospect its considerably better and if he called that a stay busy fight then fair enough least he is honest.

And I agree with you about the K2 stuff & all the other overhype HBO stuff...But "at the end of the day" Canelo has not stepped up to GGG & that's yet to remain. Well it depends how much money he's actually getting paid. I mean, when you figure the live gate, plus ad revenue concessions and so forth, I'd say the event can easily make over 10-15 million. Garcia gets paid probably 1.5 million or less, his opponent probably lucky if he gets 350k. So I don't think anybody is getting robbed, except for the fans who want to see better fights. As an employee, do you feel like you robbed your employer if one day of work is easier than the other? Do you give money back to your employer if today was easier than yesterday? Garcia is fighting an easy opponent and getting paid less to do it. While the people who are putting on the event absolutely make more than he does.

If what I do in my job results in less than full satisfaction for my employer's clients, then sure, I do feel bad about it, and then push harder to remedy the situation (rather than refund a part of my pay check). But that's just me.

Let's say the total pay out for both fighters is $1.6 million. Instead of this meaningless fight, I'd replace it with 2 competitive match ups that will help other fighters get more exposure and experience ($400K per athlete). These infomercial tuneups make me puke, especially this one, since the belt isn't even on the line. If somehow Danny loses, why shouldn't Vargas not wear the belt?

I was thinking about this the other day. While it's nice to see the sanctioning bodies every once and a while step up and say 'ummm no this is not legit', it would totally blow if Vargas somehow pulled the upset and didn't get that green belt.

At the very least, strip him if the Thurman fight doesn't come next as promised.
