Typical Frank Warren move really.

This card was hardly selling as he had some big pull outs like Eubank. The card gets pushed back so Warren can try to make some better fights to shift some tickets. Also, it free's up Saunders for the time being to see what happens between Jacobs and GGG, if they do fight, they will just get Saunders another opponent, no harm done really.

Was thinking the same thing. G-J purse bid is due for 22nd Oct. If Jacobs throws a fit once he finds out that others don't value him or his fight as highly as he rates himself then Saunders could step in.

This is a good point since the purse bid and BJ's original fight were both planned for October 22nd, he would have been in prime position to get that fight.

I also wouldn't be surprised if BJ couldn't make weight, he has been out for over 9 months and hasn't tried to schedule a fight against a top fighter in that time, at the same time he has rejected fights against fighters that he would normally be expected to beat.
