To be #2 MW and the second biggest fight GGG can make he wants give DJ 25%. DJ wanting 40% is not unreasonable request plus GGG has fought absolutely no one and this would give him more credibility.

Where do you get this from? 25% is the mandated split if it goes to purse bids, you have no idea what Jacobs was offered

Guess world titles mean absolutely nothing these days. He gets to fight a champion with 3 belts including the added incentive of becoming number one. This is entirely different from the Canelo situation, because Canelo bring millions to the table. This diva mentality is ruining boxing. You can't expect to be the best without fighting the best.

Finding a medium is the only way the fight happens. 75/25 won't cut it and ggg will be in the dark fighting another tba or ww on Dec 10. If they want to fight names, they're gonna have to pony up cash. It is what it is. ggg isn't a career defining win, and it won't catapult Jacobs to casual recognition so beating him isn't everything they're making it out to be. So far his win over Quillen is better than anything ggg has done. If the fight happens it happens, but it would be foolish for Jacobs to do a fight and get much less than he's worth to appease ggg's fan base.

Holy smokes this delusion - if DJ beat GGG, someone with no professional losses, a 300 and something - 6 record in the amateurs, never knocked down professionally and never knocked out professionally, the MW considered the de facto lineal champion, 3 belt holder, a MW so terrifying he has been avoided by several boxers, including two future ATGs...How, how, tell me, is that not a career defining win?
