GGG will most likely triple Canelo's current buy rate. GGG brings tons of financial value in that situation, where Jacobs brings very little in this one.
$10,000,000 plus ppv percent would probably easily = 25%.

So it is the same just on a bigger scale

Loeffler meanwhile is right. If not quite making Jacobs top of boxing a win would see him catapulted into top ten P4P and open gates - I'd see Saunders and Canelo much more willing to fight him than Golovkin and I reckon a couple of LMWs would thing about stepping up including Lara and Andrade. Jacobs should think about that before turning down 65/35 which I reckon is fair and only 5% off what he wants.
What if Trip gets caught with a shot he doesn't see? Wouldn't that change his career? Jacobs has serious power. Not concussive power, but KO power nonetheless.

Danny wants money to lose and GGG needs a quality opponent. If K2 has to give a 60/40 split to make it happen then it's worth it. However the split says nothing about the size of the pot. W/O ppv, I don't think the pot is big enough to satisfy Jacobs regardless of the split%. And this is not a ppv fight.

K2 better have a quality back-up opponent ready, I really believe Jacobs drops out no matter what. He's pulling his version of Rubio & Monroe getting up right as the ref counts to 10.

The only leverage I see Jacobs having is being willing to fight on HBO. If Loeffler wants the fight on HBO, which I'm sure he does, it'll be in his best interest to pay Jacobs a little more. Leaving it to the purse bid doesn't guarantee the fight will be on HBO.

Since Espinoza said they'll go after the fight aggressively, Loeffler has come out and said he wants to make a deal without the purse bid. Loeffler was the one that called for an early purse bid because he didn't think a deal could be reached. He also said Haymon wasn't returning his calls two days ago.

            Jacobs doesn't have fans
Jacobs doesn't even sell out his hometown.
            Blah, blah....Heck they think Canelo/GGG is a 50/50 split??? They're insane.
Who? What? I'm a GGG fan and I reckon Jacobs deserves 30 - 35% and I also reckon that GGG deserves 30 -35% against Canelo. And if Jacobs were to win uncontroversially I'd probably say that GGG would then deserve 30 - 35% in a rematch, but that if it went to purse bid it'd be in his best interest to suck it up. The same advice I'd give to Jacobs, though if - as I suspect 30ish % has been offered to Danny he should just take it at this point.

What else is Danny at 160 for if he ain't gonna fight for 3 of the marbles when he gets the chance? Maybe better to start thinking about 168 if he ain't gonna fight Trip. Hard to see how the deal's gonna get much sweeter if he waits a year or two, though I'd fancy his chances better.

I agree with the 1/3 being a VERY fair split. All Championship fights should be for at least a 1/3. I could see a 75/25 split or less being for a stay busy fight or an injury replacement fighter like Dominic Wade was. He wasn't even ranked #1 or #2 at the time by the IBF.

**** I think Jacobs odds of winning are better than he's getting paid!!! I would bet Jacobs in a heart beat with 25/75 odds .

Billy Joe Saunders' fight has been postponed to end of Nov/early Dec. Rule him out for this year or early next. These guys really have nowhere to go.

The fight is happening. There is nothing that should stop this fight from happening. But as far as what's next? I saw Dougie Fischer mention GGG-Hopkins at 168 for Hopkins last fight. He was throwing that out there not sure how serious that's being considered.
