If Brook vacates that means Peterson, Brook, And Vasquez turned down Spence for a title shot. He's useless to the other title holders without a belt. So are you saying he shouldn't fight for the title?

Nobody said he did. It's ****ed up that the guy was even in a position to fight for the title.

I think he is being protected from any big puncher in the division. Not necessarily for this fight. Sorry for the confusion.

As always plenty of trash comments on here, you would think the forum is full of former and current world champions lol. Horn is smart he is fighting all the right people to get that title shot, what the f*** would y'all do?! He has fought for and won a collection of regional belts to climb up the rankings while beating fringe contenders in Ahmed El Mousaoui and Randall Bailey. If he beats Mueller he ranked Number 2. This is a ranking system not who is most famous. Spence will destroy him but props to Horn for getting to this point. He is working his butt off and deserves the recognition at the very least.

No they don't. Boxers don't make a choice to be ranked by one or more orgs over other ones. The only time sanctioning fees are taken from fighters is when a boxer fights for the a main abc title or one of the lesser abc titles. No one is entering rankings cuz they paid the IBF or anyone else sanctioning fees.

Spence's team wants Kell Brook next. How is that being protected?

Before that they would have fought Konstantin Ponomarev instead of Bundu but rather than make a deal the Russian's team let things go to purse bid and then Ponomarev withdrew from even that due to injury.

From what we have seen he has had easy fights with beaten pillow punchers.
