Two Chuck Wepner movies coming out

American Brawler and The Bleeder are two movies supposedly coming out in the next few months. Both are movies about the life of Chuck Wepner, the inspiration behind Rocky. Apparently The Bleeder is the official movie with Wepner selling the rights to them and is trying to sue American Brawler as he didn't give them the rights. The Bleeder stars Live Schreiber, the guy who does voiceovers and narration for HBO sports specials. The guy has always been a fan and I'm sure with do justice to Wepner.

I dont know the full story, but didnt STallone just say the Ali Wpener fight inspired his script it was his aha moment? he never personally told Wepner before hand that he wanted to use him and made a deal with him, so he didnt really *** Wepner over.

theirs a documentary about it and it looked like stallone ****ed him, stallone even changed names and redadacted shit off his script etc to not give wepner credit .

Man you are right, Stallone is foul, but at least they settled out of court in 2006 Ill bet Stallone paid him something like 3 million. Smarter to settle out of court you actually pay cheaper and save on lawyer fees.OJ simpson went broke from his lawyer fees, didnt he have to pay his high power lawyers something like 5 million a piece?
