Valero is an interesting character, some people believes he was murdered and that he didn't kill his wife, was beating people on the street as a kid and was close to Hugo Chavez, his crash in early 2000's was a serious one and he struggled with drugs outside the ring.
In the ring, he was a savage, stopped every single one of his opponents, 19 in the first round.
Was having some serious sparring wars with DeLa Hoya (supposedly giving him a black eye) and was a serious issue for Morales in their session, Soto Karass and some other fighters had acknowledged his power and skill, he wasn't only a puncher, but a fast fighter, coordinated, with good skills and defense and was capable of counterpunch pretty well, i could see him beating Pacquiao.
So i hope the movie is a documentary and doesn't become just a media for political propaganda, i hope it shows some unseen footage and some unknown details about his life.
In my opinion he did kill his wife considering the many times he beat her, but i found his story quite interesting.

    P.D
His brother in law, Yoel Finol, the brother of the woman he murdered, won a bronze medal in the last olympics, in the toughest division in amateur boxing.
I saw an interview when he said the government killed both Valero and his sister, but now he says he says Valero murdered her and he forgives him for that.
It's a really talented fighter by the way.

Valero was listed as the only boxer that can beat Pacquiao at the time. They also featured him in many magazines as well.

The first time I read about him and started to follow his career is when I saw the below picture on a search engine, after his Lozada win back in 2007.

Screws this dirty woman beating and killing coward...... If he just killed himself alone the movie would be better....

Ive watched films about worse people than Valero, and he was definitely an enigmatic character.

Will probably watch. If theyve whitewashed his life in any way then that would be disgraceful.

I hope his children are making some money off of this. Are image rights void after death?
