    Lay off the crack pipe
Marquez cotto would bring more than 600k, but you're probably right, wouldn't outdo ggg/canelo.

    manny-Maidana is probably 800k-1 mil....
Canelo vs cotto didn't even break a million, I don't see golovkin bringing more PPv buys for canelo than cotto did

Pacquaio VS Mayweather would do 2M, they would promote on the basis of Pacquaio's injury, it's wrong to think that Canelo/Golovkin would do more than Canelo/Cotto, Canelo/Golovkin would do 750K-800K, Pacquaio/Canelo would do 1.8M, Mayweather/Canelo2 would do 2M, Canelo/Cotto2 would do 800K-850K, Mayweather/Cotto2 would do 1.2M-1.4M, Pacquaio/Cotto would do 900K-1.1M

Given how terrible May-Pac I was, I don't see it doing much the second time around.

Canelo-GGG has been talked about enough and with enough build up and highlight reels, they could make some real money.

Absolutely ridiculous question. Canelo only got 900k with Cotto. Him and GGG will get like 750k and I'd be surprised if they did any more then that.

Manny vs Floyd 2 would still get 1.2-1.5 million I think. They would never sniff over 2 million again. People already know what the result will be and a lot are still pissed if wasn't as exciting as a fight people made it out to be.

If you think that Cotto-Canelo 2 would do more than GGG-Canelo than you simply DKSAB.

That is the dumbest thing i've read here in a while. If GGG fights Canelo it's a trilogy, theres no doubt.

Pacquaio VS Mayweather would do the same as GGG-Canelo because that first fight was not what we expected. It was awful.

The missing opportunity is that if GGG and Canelo fight each other for 3 times straight it will be more interesting than if they fight once and then go their separate ways.

Canelo sold 900K against Cotto who both have entire countries behind them, Golovkin selling 97K-150K against Lemieux in a unifaction fight isn't a good sign, Golovkin is that popular, it's clearly the best fight that can be made, but not the most money making fight atm, that's why the fight isn't being made

The problem with the Lemieux ppv was that both guys don't have strong boxing backgrounds in their countries. GGG is bigger now than he was then(a year ago). Canelo already beat Cotto and theres nothing new to see there. Cotto is a veteran but he was outsized and fighting a much younger guy and everybody watching saw that. Also because there was no expectation of a KO in the Cotto fight, the potential for the GGG fight is much higher.

You probably are right, but the most Golovkin/Canelo can do is 1M-1.1M

May-Pac 2 does 500k. Absolute ZERO casuals will buy that fight. They would buy 3 Rhonda PPV's before another Mayweather scam.
