    How about margarito v. Mitchell

Sharmba did not look half bad against Jose Luis Cruz. A Margarito-Mitchell fight would show whether or not Margarito can deal with a relatively quick opponent. An impressive win and he would have a real case for fighting PBF. A loss or a lackluster showing however and we won't have to waste our time with Mayweather v. Margarito. Margarito looks painfully slow and inefficient in the clips I have seen. This would give him a chance to try to tighten up his style before trying to fight Mayweather.

Could happen, all I know is I want to see Margarito beat this type of fighter before throwing down $50 to watch PBF-Margarito

Could be good but Arum know's Mitchell is a vet and if Margotito wins ppl wil say he's old etc. .And if Margorito loses then his future big paydays go bye bye. So a good fighter but with more zing to it because he wants PBF and if Hatton looks good and PBF beats Oscar then the public will probably desire this and leave him behind. Basicly I think if he wants PBF then he's gotta fight a young name opponent next.

My point is he has to fight somebody who the boxing public has some amount of respect for. Basically what arum seemed to be trying to do was to protect him and pray he would somehow beat Mayweather and become a huge star. He has not done enough to deserve the opportunity. Mitchell could be a means of building a resume and providing a point of reference for evaluating how he would do against Mayweather.

            mitchell

mitchell will expose margarito. mitchell has the advantage over margarito in everything besides power.

margarito is wide open for mitchells combos that he thrwos over and over. mitchell is very accurate and will box circles around margarito for an easy decision.

I could certainly see that happening. From what little I have seen of Margarito he looks really inefficient

is this some sort of joke? Margarito has all but dominated the welterweight division and ya'll think Sharmba would be even any type of threat? Margarito would destroy Sharmba, and this is coming from a guy who is one of Sharmba's biggest fans. I was a big fan prior to the Kostya fight of what the man was getting done in the ring, considered him along with everybody else the best 140 pounder at one point and picked him to beat Kostya.

                Margarito by death.
