Not in denial or spooked am simply stating the fact that it will not be as one sided as you are making it out to be.

Alavarez has gone the distance with much weaker punchers than Golovkin and Golovkin has knocked out stronger fighters than Alvarez.

Facts, stats and records don't lie Poppie.

Just looking at career punch stats tell you more often than not Golovkin out lands his opponents. His last 3 fights (Lemeiux,Wade and Brook) he has accuracy of 45% total compared to 36% for Alvarez.

So analytically Canelo would get hit more than Golovkin. Also Golovkin never had a 10-15 lbs weight advantage on fight night against his last three opponents in fact he was out weighted.

        Again try using critical thinking.
Canelo has been in there with lots of good fighters (defensively). Golovkin has been in there with a lesser caliber who aren't as good defensively. So those stats mean squat. Lemieux, Wade, Brook? Alrighty.

So what year is this fight actually going to happen? We've been led on by Canelo for about a year now. 2017 will be much like 2016, insofar as Canelo's first opponent will give us a good indication of his intent to fight Golovkin. If he doesnt choose a top ranked 160 fighter (at 160), then I suspect we wont see Canelo fight Golovkin next year, either

Shieeeet,Good that GGG tanks have problems with fuel too, they was pretty tiered during England invasion,so Alvarez can take his time and fill the tank, with some luck he wont finish like german tank under Moscow in 1941,and pull and succesful assault like in 1940 or 1941 on balkans, when GGGs tanks gas out after fifth like in englad.

but seriously i think GGG stamina is overrated,he have some problems with this.

                Alvarez vs Smith 37%
                Golovkin vs Lemuiex 51%

                Alvarez vs Khan 38%
                Golovkin vs Brook 44%

                Alvarez vs Kirkland 58%
                Golovkin vs Wade 41%

                Average for Canelo 44%
                Average for Golovkin 45%

Except for a weight drained Kirkland Golovkin does better generally does better against fighters of similar quality.

And if you think Khan beats Brook you are delusional.

WHO said it was one sided? The question posed, ''can Golovkin take an Alvarez body shot...?

Not sure you understand boxing, but ATG's as they move up in weight, can consistently hold their power. What does that mean? That means when Alvarez moves up to 160, his power is conditioned to that weight and stronger than what it was at 154.

Do you reallly think people want to see this fight because it's easy for Golovkin? Mexican boxers are known to bring it hard when the rounds count. Have you ever seen Alvarez battered or go the distance in savage mode like Chavez Sr., Barrera, Marquez, Morales? Those guys went through wars.

Don't you think it's prematüre to think that Alvarez won't have that confidence when the time comes? The kid is slick and defense will be his advantage. You're straight trolling if you think GGG's resume of opposition has Alvarez's style of ring IQ and defense let alone the punching power and combinations.

                  Here are the facts:

Golovkin has been getting tagged more as of late... If they were Alvarez shots...well then that's a debate...

Golovkin guarding up, trust me, Alvarez's power will be respected vs anything you've seen before...

Golovkin uses his ''jab,'' Alvarez will guard those easily, and all boxers gas out regardless if the punches don't land. that's general exertion. Alvarez will handle it. The judges won't be impressed with that.

Alvarez likes come forward fighters, that's when he picks his shots best, and he has fast accurate combinations with upper body movement.

We all know what to expect from Golovkin...given that resume... Alvarez is a complete different player..

People should be focusing on what Alvarez will do, not the cliche idea of what Golovkin already does.

Does better at what? I've watched both of them fight, I know Canelo is far better defensively.
