Actually this time it was Takam that bailed to fight Duhaupas for some mid level belt, WBC Silver or something like that
Yep, you are right. I googled after and just saw yesterday it was passed up.
Takam decided to go for a bigger split for WBC Silver belt against Dauphaus, and cited that a month was not long enough to prepare for the fight. I can see that.
Yeah they both are.. But there is nothing AJ or Irtiz can bring that Wlad cannot handle.. Unlike Fury these guys are stylistically simpler.. Big punchers, yes but that's not going to be enough to defeat Wlad
Joshua is still green for Wlad.
Ortiz is part of the Cuban system and will mix it up Wlad hasn't seen too much of that.
Translation: make Ortiz take all the tough fights in the division. AJ takes soft touches and meets whoever comes out on top, hoping they're battle worn

I disagree that Ortiz brings something into the HW scene we haven't seen yet.. People are hyping him as the boogie man and all it takes is a step up in class and he will come short I am sure.. There are still things he does which the top guys can take advantage of, for example he hardly has a straight down the throat shot and does not use his jab enough to maintain distance.. Here is another thing, the dude hasn't been into the championship rounds, hasn't been landed flush.. You cannot be the next best thing if you haven't been tested yet..
