GGG doesn't bring in the type of revenue like Floyd Mayweather did in the later stage of his career so boxers don't want to accept a deal that gives them a small split. When guys fought Mayweather later in his career they would accept a small percentage because they knew it would be a big pot and therefore it was a money fight. Guys weren't thirsting and salivating at the mouth to fight him until he had that ability to draw that kind of revenue.

    This is obvious enough.

This is true and will always be true until GGG bends and sacrifices to get a big fight

              It's not like we're talking Floyd's $30 million to Maidana's $3 Million or Pacquiao's $25 Million to Chris Algieri's $1 Million.

We're talking probably $3 Million for Jacobs and then $5 Million for Golovkin. Those numbers are more than fair.

And where exactly is that fight gonna generate $8 million ? Jacobs is a nobody and GGG did at most 150k PPV. That's the problem, these guys want Manny-Floyd type pay days against a guy who is just breaking into the limelight. The money is not there.

                  I couldn't tell you but i wasn't talking literally.

I was trying to explain to TS that what Golovkin makes won't be all that much more than what Jacob makes.

Jacobs main issue isn't purse split but rather wanting an amount of money that just isn't there to be paid.

You think? I don't think Golovkin's ever going to pull in much more revenue than he does already. If Canelo will fight him there's a good payday there, but I seriously doubt 10,000,000 Mexicans are gonna start tuning in to GGG fights on Cinco de Mayo.
