Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Confident He'll Beat Andy Ruiz, Win World Title

Top rated heavyweight contender Joseph Parker (21-0, 18KOs) is feeling very confident on what he can do in the ring against Andy Ruiz (29-0, 19kOs). As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Parker and his promoter Duco Events are in talks with Bob Arum of Top Rank to stage a fight with Ruiz on December 10th in New Zealand.

So its is pretty obvious that Parker won't fight AJ, neither sides are talking about fighting each other now.. Dec 10th 2 HW title fights can be made, Parker vs Ruiz & Joshua vs Klitschko..

Also, Bob is talking non-sense by saying Parker is a slow HW.. Parker has one of the fastest hands in the division & that is his forte..

Parker would fight Ruiz or Haye before Joshua. His team knows the ruiz fight is 90% winnable for them so why not get a belt.

Dude will pick up a title and the other belt holders will be able to hide behind their titles as opposed to having to face him. He will take no credit for defeating a fat Mexican nobody has heard of or cares for.

I'll watch another Parker taped fight since Takam was a bad night. Any suggestions on one where he looks good? No quickie set up KO's. A good fight, so I can see these fast hands.

I've seen enough. If I had any faith in Andy, I'd bet the house on him. Ruiz is not really a road warrior and dietary issues cause me doubt, but if Andy can do in NZ what he does in the USA, he's way too fast for Parker. Parker has the same problem, he's not a road warrior either. Wilder would dance circles around Joseph in Alabama and Joshua in London would be suicidal.

It's a quick fight but he looked really good vs Kali Meehan. Brian Minto he took his time and threw some nice combos. Andy has arguably faster hands but in no other way is faster i think Parker tears him apart 4 to 5 rounds
