I agree but it's forever spoilt by that piece of **** Panama Lewis - whatever he gave Pryor did rejuvenate him as he was badly hurt at the end of round 13 and if anything looked more vulnerable!

You're missing the point - the end of round 13 Pryor collapses on his stool- hurt from a ferocious combination- there is no doubt he's a spent fighter

Whatever was in the bottle can only be debated but it revived Pryor and he then started the 14th as if it was the 1st after already throwing well over 1200 punches!

He miss a post fight p1ss test - so we would never know what was in his system but it must have been something pretty effective to literal turn him into a fresher fighter

point blank, had his corner NOT been mic'd or those words werent said, what then ? alexis absorbed just as much punishment. maybe he too had something (dunno if he took a test or if the test was dependable back then) ? weve all seen our fair share of quick recoveries (almost every fight m grant and gatti were in, chico vs jlc 1, jmm pac 1....).

Very sad to see the death of Aaron at 60 years this morning on ESPN ...a great fighter 2 show how great he was Duran skiped over him, Leonard moved up to SWWwhen he found out Aaron was going to 147...RIP champ...you were truly one of the great ones of all time...
