Dont worry, Mexico still has some serious talent at 112 and 115. Juan Hernandez and Luis Nery are next up.
I've been seeing Nery on the late Saturday shows for a couple years and that dude can fight. Not many have heard of or seen him but that's starting to change since his last fight. Now he needs a name fighter on a better network to be showcased on.

Estrada = Only on his second/third division but had to had surgery to remove tumor cyst from hand, it's very hard to come back 100% from that type of surgery.

Roman Gonzalez = Four time world champion, smaller than the average junior bantamweight, has reached his peak but an exceptional boxer with no injury so far, could unify with Inoue
Don't forget Cuadras.....he showed he belongs with all of them.

I was just responding to the post made by drablj that Roman was on the decline and the others were injured or had injuries on their hands.

He can punch and has a damn good chin on him. He ate Sanchez's clean punches and didn't even flinch, then he unloaded his own firepower on the Tornado and reduced him to a breeze.

Sanchez was a decent name and now he's going after Mepranum later on this month. In about two weeks if I recall correctly. He wants all the big names and can fight at either 115 or 118 comfortably. I like his style a lot. He's flashy and packs a punch but can also take the heat while maintaining a smile on his face. This kid will be a problem.

Beat his ass is a very close fight, jerk?

He fought with him in 108 pounds, but well, this is a disgrace for the division.

Estrada at 100% can beat any fighter in 115.

Man, and Luis Nery has a greaaaat stamina, he throws a lot of punches.

450 punches in 4 rounds vs David Sanchez.

              130 punches in round 3.

Yup. He keeps his hands low at times but he knows how to roll punches and even though he uses the shoulder roll he's very offensive. The kid has the goods. I was shocked at how well he took David's punches, especially the clean right hand in the first round he didn't even flinch. His body punching is also intriguing.

Anyway, I hope Estrada fixes his hand issues. It would be tragic to see a top notch, young fighter have to exit the sport in his prime because of hand complications. He could have easily knocked Tabugon out if he was able to throw his right hand with authority in the later rounds.

I followed Estrada since Campeon Azteca, like 5 years ago and I can say that Luis Nery is better than Juan.

For me he has more tools, is southpaw, can **** from weird angles and has more power.

But well, it's sad the problem with Juan and his right hand. **** that...

It sounds like hes exaggerating to excuse a bad performance vs. a bum! because he is talking about fighting in December -- thats less than two months away!

Are you ******ed, bro? He couldn't even throw his right hand and would even position himself in awkward stances to set up his left hand towards the end of the fight. He had a bad performance? He dominated the guy with one hand . Triple left hooks, double left hook to the body, jabbed to set up all of his offense from the same hand.

He said he has to check his hand out with a doctor but if the swelling and pain is normal and expected after such a surgery then he wants to comeback and fight in December. I mean sht, he even mentioned his return in December since before the fight happened.
