Of course he would, and the only people who would say otherwise are Golovkin fans making excuses.

This was pretty much proved, was a thread a couple of months ago where GGG's team were saying ramirez was a possibility. As soon as that got mentioned, ramirez started getting discredited (hes too green! easiest stylistically for ggg!). He'll never please this people. And guess what would also get said if he started fighting at 168? 'GGG running from canelo!'

Lemieux is a mess and not anywhere near the same class as Jack. Jack is solid and is making a name for himself, though he lost a little lustre in my eyes after a ho-hum performance vs a juiced up Bute.

If Golovkin fought him, I'd not only give credit, but say it's far and away the best win on GG's resume.
Bump this if it happens. I never backtrack on stuff like this.

I think GGG has everything to gain in a fight like this. I hope he does take it. If the Jacobs fight falls through which is a good possibility, maybe they could get it made, since the Jack-DeGale fight doesn't seem to be going anywhere or have I missed something? Any date on that fight yet?

no hes a good fighter, but none of the SMW's are superstars and all you people who love to hate GGG so much wouldnt give him credit for moving up. You'd **** on about him fighting ward/kovalev even more cause he'd be closer to 175

Jesus Christ at some of the posts in here. He'd be the best win on his resume by far.

Some cats aren't going to give GGG (or Canelo or whoever) credit for a f#cking thing. Thats how some ****** mfers roll. Who gives a ****? Why give a ****? Let the ****** stay ****** & quit trying to join them by acting like their opinion is valid with threads like this.

Most are & will continue to give GGG (or Canelo or whoever) credit on most of their respectable accomplishments & I think its reasonable to suggest that beating a top 2 or 3 168lber would be a respectable accomplishment for GGG.

I would definitely finally give Golovkin credit since it would be his first solid opponent on his cv!

Jack I do rate, he has the scalps of Groves and Dirrell and if he beats Degale then definitely his cv doubles up
