I felt Hamer won some points but he was being walked down and taking some heavy shots. It was definitely turning and he looked like he was mentally shot after Ruiz just kept walking through him and hitting him far harder than he was hitting.
I think this is a good fight, primarily because of the styles.
Takam showed that Parker does best when he has room to move in and out, and if you deny him that room he can flounder. Ruiz can push forward quite relentlessly, but he also has far faster hands than Takam - although probably not as good a defense or ability to take the fight into the late rounds.
We've never really seen Parker fight a guy with really fast hands like this. It's usually an advantage Parker has but here it's quite even.Comment

They should just fight a week after the GGG fight. January's good too, it would give the Destroyer more time to get in phenomenal shape. One thing for sure is Ruiz is going to be in the best shape of his life for this.Comment
