That's a tricky question because Matchroom Sport (Eddie Hearn) owned the fight; the offer likely had some guaranteed minimum purse but, if the negotiations were anything like Hearn's prior PPVs, the fighter was entitled to an 80/20 share of the net revenues after all of the costs were paid.Idk there orginal off but there reason jacobs should be getting paid less them
Facts are jacobs is the 2nd biggest name at 160 with one better win then ggg and will be the biggest (american wise) and most dangerious fighter he faced and will be fighting on ggg home network
Let say it goes to purse and gets 25% of let say 3million that about 750k which is prabably one of jacobs lowest in years a 60 -40 split is fair ......with the fact ggg has all those belt but didnt win them in the ring except the David fight
BOXING NEED THIS FIGHT PERIOD
Golovkin's purse, plus the cost of running O2 Arena, plus whatever other costs related to putting on the fight as the costs, with the live gate, sponsors, and Sky Box Office providing the bulk of the revenues (K2 likely paid Matchroom for the German TV rights and the US TV rights).
Whatever K2 has already offered, Jacobs and his camp seem to not be all that happy with it, so they're applying whatever pressures they have to either 1)get K2 to offer up a better deal or 2)set the stage to get a fairer deal at the purse bid.
Would help to know what K2 has actually offered.Comment

Lou DiBella/Al Haymon are likely to bid well more than $3m for the fight; with Stephen Espinoza making it clear that Showtime is definitely interested in the fight and the interest from Barclays Center in hosting the fight (and the international TV rights interest for seeing #1 vs #2), the money's there for an aggressive bid.
Is the money there for K2 to bid that high? Between what HBO is offering for the TV, and what they can get at the gate at MSG (Golovkin-Lemieux was already a "sellout", yet that gate was never disclosed), can they make it work? who knowsComment

Why do you keep repeating that lie? Lol at is K2 willing to bid 3m. They offered the B sider 2 Quillins already, ****** fcuk. Does that give you a clue about their budget?Lou DiBella/Al Haymon are likely to bid well more than $3m for the fight; with Stephen Espinoza making it clear that Showtime is definitely interested in the fight and the interest from Barclays Center in hosting the fight (and the international TV rights interest for seeing #1 vs #2), the money's there for an aggressive bid.

Yeah probably not seeing that Quillin was getting jaw-jacked by Gabriel Rosado. He should send Golovkin half his purse for the assist.
Jacobs took 12 rounds to stop journeymen Traux. The kid can't deal with movement to save his life. Good thing Quillin just stood there with his chin in the air.Comment
