Jacobs does NOT stand once chance against Golovkin.

I get it you love Jacobs, I have respect for him as a fight but I will call BS when I see it and asking for a Interim fight is complete and utter BS! If he really thought he could win, he would take whatever offer is on the table just to get GGG in the ring to make a statement but again I don't think that is the case. I think it is doubt that he can win so he wants financial security just in case he gets destroyed and I have no problem with him wanting that but I do think it is doubt and some fear. Sounds like a lot of "What If I Lose?" being asked instead "After I Win It Will Be A Bigger Pot Of Gold The Next Fight"
Too many guys turning down and walking away from their GOLDEN TICKET TO STARDOM! No it is not much money available because boxing is not doing all that well in America right now, GGG vs Jacobs is not going to do big numbersComment

Telling that any fighter is afraid of fighting is simply not true, ofc that he know risk and want to be paid,What happend is probably Jacobs figured out that he wont get good payday so he is looking for way out now.I get it you love Jacobs, I have respect for him as a fight but I will call BS when I see it and asking for a Interim fight is complete and utter BS! Excellent post. This is why the fight needs to happen, even though I am really quite sure that Danny will get badly KOd. I suspect he himself knows that is a very real possibility and wants to be paid accordingly. And whilst I can understand that, this is a sport, and if you want to go around calling yourself a champion and saying you want to fight Golovkin - you're going to have to do it.This fight will be extremely revealing, even if it is assumed it will end in a KO by GGG.
If it goes, say 9 rounds, and Jacob's wins six and outboxes ggg due to speed and skill advantage(before getting koed by accumulation of damage) it will prove that ggg is vulnerable a little hyped, and there are guys who could beat him.
If it goes, say 6 or less and GGG is even or ahead on cards before catching Jacob's with a shot he can't handle, it proves that he would overwhelm every conceivable opponent at 168 or below with the exception of ward dropping down.
It is the tipping fight for ggg detractors. First scenario they can continue to hate on ggg and the people who give ggg too much credit. Second scenario, he pretty much has to be recognized as legit, and haters will be forced to witness, and should expect, the construction of a resume at MW that will put him in the conversation for ATG middleweights..... i.e. ten more champion defenses by KO....Comment

Asking for an interim fight is like him acknowledging that he is getting paid for a loss and wanting one more payday before he is back to not being able to draw flies to ****.I get it you love Jacobs, I have respect for him as a fight but I will call BS when I see it and asking for a Interim fight is complete and utter BS! Basically.
I also truly believe he feels needs one more fight to mentally prepare himself to fight Golovkin. You can see in his interviews he lacks the true confidence to beat Golovkin.
Fighting GGG next has come too soon for him, and so the interim fight (and easy payday, of course) isn't surprising.
Golovkin has got a huge mental hold on these guys. Jacobs, Canelo, BJS.Comment

Beating GGG gets him PLENTY OF MONEY after does it not, so wouldn't that be a High Risk "Low Reward" worth taking if it could =Instant Stardom if you win which would man a lot more money especially if GGG wants a rematch
IMO clearly it is DOUBT he can win so he wants a Safety Net which is a lot of money and it is nothing wrong with that at all but if it goes to a Purse Bid he might end up with less than what is probably on the table now and if he doesn't take it then he will be stripped and what bargaining chips will he really have then?Comment
