I see no reason for him to stay at 160 really apart from getting all the belts. If he wants to fight Jacobs and then Saunders to unify everything then that's fair enough but that should be wrapped up by March. I see no reason at all for him to stay at 160 apart from a Canelo fight.

The problem is there isn't even any big money fights or great wins at 168 that people will give him credit for. Someone like DeGale is a good fighter but he hasn't looked great recently and if Golovkin beat him, people will just say DeGale struggled with Porky Medina etc.

He isn't really going to get full credit until he beats a top LHW in my opinion. He's just at that stage now where his wins would be a great win for anybody else, just not him. A bit like Floyd was, he's a fighter that could beat other champions and a top 5 in his division and still get no credit.

I agree 100%, but don't forget Jacobs VS Quillin was mismatch and I promise you Quillin would win in a rematch, but one punch is all it takes

You are probably right but Jacobs has fast accurate punches with real power in both hands and he is a great finisher. Look what he did to Quillen. I expect GGG to KO him quickly as you say. But Jacobs is a very dangerous middleweight with a chance to beat anybody. I am a big GGG fan but I will be a little nervous for him until the fight is over. Jacobs can't take GGG's power so his only chance is to hurt GGG first.

I think it would be a great fight, but I think Jacobs can win a decision, or even stop GGG real late. Golovkin doesn't seem to pack a wallop late and he does seem to tire.

Jacobs does have a suspect chin, but his recuperative powers are like Larry Holmes or Evander. Don't know how GGG recups.
