More likely Eddie Hearn is intending to have two world champions in his stable. There's also talk of a promotional agreement of sorts with Joseph Parker. Could end up with a present day Don King type scenario.
    ... Possibly... Whatever...

... Anyway: Hearn is a business-oriented savvy and/or ruthless guy (as he even threw Brook into the lion's mouth...

Warren doesn't count anymore -- he is already airing his top fights on Sky Sports...

Ortiz turned down Roc Nation to sign with Matchroom. He will be on the undercard of the Kovalev/ward PPV had he sign with RN. That would've been one sick PPV had he done that.

Overall signing with Matchroom is a better choice as Matchroom can get him better opponents imo.

I'm very happy for him because he's so underrated and he fight for a little money with Golden Boy Promotions. hopefully everything will be better for him.

He's not fighting Anthony Joshua anytime soon; Eddie Hearn isn't going to go with that fight until it's the type of bout that he can take Joshua to Wembley with.

He'll definitely end up making more money with Hearn than he would've with Golden Boy though; Hearn will get the UK fans use to seeing him, and then set him on the path to lockdown a shot at one of the belts (the WBA path being the most obvious).

intro fight to the Uk fans, re-starting the talks for the Ustinov fight, and then line up WBA challengers until the eventual title shot happens.

It would be good to see Haye step up to the plate and fight Ortiz but we all know he wouldn't.

Could you imagine Ortiz versus the crude brawler Whyte ? Dude would end him his career.
