I think that his defense is improving. His stamina is improving. His ring IQ is improving and clearly he's getting a lot of time in ring which is tremendous for a young guy. Now he just needs to be able to mix this new more cautious style with the pop he used to have and then maybe we'll see where he really is at this point in time.

What'd you make of the Parker fight last week since I know you were quite critical of Joey?!
Parker looked very good but against a decent skilled guy but non power puncher and is fragile doesnt take power well. His defence and fluidity was improved .Whyte looked decent against a average guy who could take punishment well ..... If they both fought i would give slight edge to Parker because i cant go with thinking Whyte showing up putting everything together ,he needs to sharpen that over hand video game character power punch . I didnt see Banks in there either his trainer he had with Joshua ? His power punches were very telegraphing.

I stand by my opinion , Whyte vs Parker if it happened would be very competitive , i think it is a pick'em or 60 /40 in favor of Parker right now .....one is not showing up to try and end fights and the other is ending fights fast bc he is trying . If Whyte dares him to play the tag me game , i think Parker will get to him ,it would be interesting knowing Parker hasnt looked good in stamina at times and now we see Whyte getting used to coasting in later rounds , i would need to see Whyte knock out a top guy within 6 rnds to think he beats Parker .

Pre-AJ, I thought Whyte fighting at that level was too early, too soon. Post- I thought ok, this kid maybe has something and can develop.

But now I can tell for sure he isn't going to be anything more than a bum beater. He is SO uncoordinated, he throws wide looping shots ALL the time and gets hit too often. Even a shot version of Chisora should beat him in all honesty. Whyte's best shot at a "name" is Price.

It's funny skysports and matchroom built up Dillian Whyte on some old story that he beat Joshua in an amatuer bout. Gullible public ate it all up like the suckers they are. Dillian Whyte is a good domestic boxer currently, Joshua took nothing away from him by ko'ing him. He's always been the way he looked last night. The fact people are questioning whether he can beat a semi retired fringe world level fighter like Chisora does not do well for him.

Aj struggled with Dillian Whyte and then blew away the worst heavyweight champion Charles Martin. Wladimir may be on his last legs but he's still been an incredible and massively dominant boxer over the past decade. The fact Joshua hasent beaten a chisora, povetkin, parker, pulev, ortiz doesnt stand him in great stead. Either he catches Wladimir early or he gets schooled once he gasses in the 5th

Oh and Parker would smash Whyte. Whyte isnt exactly hard to find clean. Only worry for Parker is Whyte is extremely durable and can be dangerous to the body. But i think Parker would ko him similar round to AJ

DilluanWhyte has improved massively since the AJ fight especially his discipline, conditionining and variety of punches thrown.

Whyte beats any of AJs opponents and Chisora comfortably.

Whyte v Parker would be a good fight but my money would be on the new version of Whyte as Parker is very easy to hit.

people on here dont realise how good whyte is,he likes to take a couple punches,he was toying with lewison a 20 stone heavyweight and took his best punches in the first round and laughed,,whyte would be dangerous vs any heavyweight...a heavyweight that can take heavyweight punches and the punishment he took from joshua and still crack himself is a dangerous heavyweight, you have to wear him down you aint blowing him out with one punch
