      favored?

no. i really don't think floyd would hve been the dog against any of his worthy challgeners that he didn't face. the most worthy was obviously prime pacquiao in '09ish, but he still woulnd't have been favored. i'm on the record saying that floyd beats manny at any weight, and there's no shame in that. manny was a flyweight FFS. a weight class smaller than carlos cuadras.

i think the toughest style matches are with margarito and williams becuase of their size, but i still owulnd't favor either guy. keep in mind that williams had trouble with the boxing skills and counterpunching of carlos quintana, and margarito was incredibly easy to hit.

there aren't many ww in history who would be outright favored to beat floyd mayweather. the 3 locks to be favored are hearns, leonard, and robinson. they punch too hard, are too active, and box too well to lose on pts. and floyd doesn't hit hard enough to hurt them. styles make ights. floyd legitimately wouldn't even be in the fight. not on the cards or anywhere else. i don't think he takes those fights.

Duran and JCC Sr. outright beat Floyd. They are excellent punchers, good boxers, incredible chins, and are too active. Think better versions of JLC/Maidana. And those were razor tight fights.

Duran/JCC Sr. beat Floyd and possibly even stop him although probably just UD/SD 12/15

By no means would I favor him, but I think Margarita would have been a great fight. Styles make fights and that would have been one where Floyd would have to dig deep.

Williams and Margarito would have been tough to beat on points.

However, if he had fought Margarito, Cotto, Manny, Mosley and Williams at the time he should have, he would have probably picked up a loss in that period. Not necessarily through any failing on his part, but that's a high quality list with a lot of different strengths, and everyone has a bad night.

Williams is the only one I see beating him but I think Maravilla beats Floyd.
