He hasn't even fought at SMW yet, so I don't have a clue.
So if GGG moved to 168, Who Beats Him?

None of the current lot would beat him and none of the fights are that marketable. No need for ggg to move upComment

Skill wise, Degale is basicly it. Chudinov would be a fun fight because he is an Energizer Bunny. The rest have a size advantage, but they are'nt on GGG's level and none of them are really big punchers outside of Smith.Comment

I agree, although IMO DeGale is very overrated, skillwise.
I'd LOVE to see Ramirez or Smith vs. Golovkin. Because those guys are so much bigger, it's a very interesting stylistic matchup for Golovkin. If they can keep him away with the reach advantage, they can pull it out. But if Golovkin starts going for the body successfully, they're very tall & lanky and are susceptible to body shots. I can see a Golovkin TKO via broken ribs.Comment

Legitimate chance - DeGale, Ramirez, Callum Smith
Will they beat him ? no, but they will give heck of a fight..Comment

you should be banned from the site, locked up and thrown in an asylum if you think andre dirrell beats GGG nowAndre Direll beats him. The same Andre Direll that beat him in the Amateurs arguablely twice. This is an easliy sellable fight since they split the two times the fought in the ams. Direll says GGG doesn't hit any harder than any other SMW's he's faced. In fact he said GGG's punching power is nothing special.
I think Chunky beats him but I'm not totally sold on Jack beating him. I give GGG the nod over Ramirez. Actually I think Ramirez is easy work for GGG.Comment

James DeGale, Badou Jack, and Andre Dirrell all beat Golovkin at 168lbs; heck, I'd even argue that Arthur Abraham (a man who, physically, is likely about where Golovkin is) gives him a hell of a fight. Golovkin ends up having a tough time with basically the top-20 at 168lbs, which is why K2 has been so adamant about not moving him.Since this guy doesn't seem to be getting any of the fights he needs at 160, let's say he moves to 168. Now, obviously a new division brings new challenges. Will his power mean as much at 168? Can he take a 168 pounder's punches? Lots of big questions there.
However, of all the opponents for him there, who gets it done?
DeGale? Certainly an interesting fight.
Jack? That's a tough one for him.
Ramirez? Probably not ready yet, but I'd like to see it regardless.
Who gets in there and beats him though?
Golovkin's power isn't monstrous at 160lbs, Golovkin doesn't seem to be all that effective fighting on the inside, and Golovkin leaves himself in position to eat too many shots to get to that mid-range where he's comfortable throwing his shots.
Rogelio "Porky" Medina may not have anywhere near the physical talent that Golovkin has, but he's 6'1 with 73" reach, is all of 28 years old, can take a punch, and is coming down to 168lbs from a likely 200lb body.Comment
