Did GGG lose his pen?

This man knows his stuff !! Team GGG offered 3m and Jacobs, who made a career high 1.5M for the Quillen fight, said "why fight GGG for that when he could fight 2 Quillens for the same amount ". Jacobs is pricing himself out of the bout.Comment

Ok let's play the Jacobs is pricing himself out of the fight, game. So if he prices himself out of the fight it goes to purse bid where he'll end up getting significantly less than what he asked for, right? The Quillin quote is on without the threat of a 25% purse bid split hanging over his head. Now that that 25% purse split is hanging over his head he has to be reasonable or get far less than what he wants.Comment

to quote you:
K2 never sent Jacobs an offer. Jacobs, the B-side, sent them an offer of what it would take to get the fight made and on HBO.Last edited by Pain~Lucy; 10-06-2016, 10:32 PM.Comment

where are the fans that criticized fighters in the past fpr making business decisions, where are the ones who claim they support GGG because of his warrior mentality and willingness to do anything to make fights happen? GGG's team KNOW that if this goes to the purse bid that Jacobs won't accept the fight, if the rumors about the 75-25% are true and Jacobs has no problems fighting on HBO, why should GGG wait till the purse bid if he's so willing to fight the best and confident in winning?Comment

Mendoza Jr exclusively told Sky Sports: "They are negotiating. Already, Jacobs' handlers have sent an offer - the numbers - to [Golovkin's promoter] Tom Loeffler. That's what I've heard.Comment

If it goes to purse bid Jacobs is and should be expected to accepted whatever his share of the purse is. Is he decides not too it's a duck.
No one cares if he isn't happy with 25%, he wins the title and then he'll be the one getting 75%, is that simple.
Should we change the rules for poor ol Daniel Jacobs?Comment
