Ali hands down...this man went all over the world to fight to be an ambassador for the sport of Boxing. He trancended the sport and his time. Tyson is just a face and personality everyone knows about. He didn't accomplish ****

quote my whole answer, not just a phrase. those were the reasons Ali in known by more. Ali was around way before tyson so more people would obviously been exposed to Ali before tyson came on the seen.

C'mon. No contest here. People that have never watched a boxing match know Muhammad Ali. He could still stop traffic on any streetcorner in the world.
