The only reason he looks awkward is because he's fighting a guy with limited skills that can't find solution to what he's doing.
The minute he fights someone that knows how to cut that ring off,throws combinations he'll be in trouble.

I agree man, I am not a big Cotto fan, but I dont see how Paulie can beat him, still dont know if he'll be able to handle cottos power

It's not that we hate him. It's that he thinks he is going to beat Cotto. Which i don't see him doing. Cotto will cut the ring perfect and end the fight with a left hook.

I don't think most fighters can handle Cotto's power, however I think that this fight is going to be very interesting. Malignaggi does not try to do things that he can not do. He is very quick with his punches and he foot work. Cotto only fights guys that stand right in fornt of him. Cotto hits hard as **** but his defence is terrible. In this fight win/lose I think that he will get hit with more cleaner shots than he has every been hit with b4. I think that he can pull the fight out because he always has a punchers chance but I think that he will look bad doing it. Malignaggi always has a strong game plan and most importantly he is not going to stand right in front of Cotto. If he stings Cotto early in this fight we will learn a lot about Cotto...

I heard alot of this **** before the Oscar-Ricardo fight. People not only saying that Mayorga would win, but that Oscar had no chance whatsoever and would lose by KO early. And what happened?
Mt point is, the people who were saying those things were saying them out of hate, not out of boxing knowledge. People like that tend not to look at the things a given fighter does well if they don't like that fighter or like his opponent alot more, and therefore shouldn't be taken seriously. I agree with what someone else said, that Cotto will have alot more trouble with Paulie than most are willing to admit, and even if Cotto does win, he will look the worst of his career in doing so.

Cotto is gonna rip the backstreet boy's head off. Paulie is not that slick, he has bad defense and gets hit too often to be considered "slick". I think you are believing more of what Paulie sais than he actually does.

Cotto will cut off the ring and go to the body early, then in the mid rounds a worn out Paulie will be open for heat shots and will fold. Paulie doesn't have the power to keep Cotto off.

I'm not the biggest Cotto fan, but this is a mismatch. Paulie's manager should be prosecuted for incompetence.
