I wish there was a Mayweather (a wealthy non-puncher) so Salido could ride off into the sunset like Maidana did. IMO, the sweetest justice in boxing is when the brawlers leave the sport with a sizable bank account and their senses relatively intact. As much I like Lomachenko, I would love to see Salido KO him in a PPV co-main event where he makes a 7 figure-payday.

In this generation of primadonnas, who act like they are entitled to a big pay days without fighting the best, picking up millions of dollars to fight c- level guy's.

Salido will never stay down after getting KD, he will never give up, he will never duck anyone.

He fought the best and shown the heart of a warrior despite lacking world class skills.

Can you think of anyone else?

Roberto Duran, James Toney, Jake LaMotta, Sugar Ray Robinson, Thomas Hearns(I don't believe that he ducked McCallum, the fight just didn't get made for whatever reason), Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr, Alexis Arguello, Salvador Sanchez, Azumah Nelson and too many to name really. However, in this era, no, there are probably none. However, I like what I see from Lomachenko so far.

Boxing had a lot more credible fighters in the old days. Most guys lost coming up and title shots were a hell of a lot harder to get back then. No one focused a lot on the "0" which is BS for the most part. A lot of these guys could use a good humbling fight on their way up. That way, when they got the title, they'd be better equipped to handle making defenses and staying on top. A flawless record looks great on paper, but it hardly ever tells the truth. Salido definitely is a warrior and has the guts to dish it out with anybody.
