He's surrounded by ass whippings at 154.

I guess he's gonna fight Cotto and Canelo...then retire.

I see Spence stopping him and people complaining that it doesn't count because Brook was drained, which he would be. Time to move to 154.

Don't think anyone at 147 can take errol's vicious body shots for a full 12

I figured Kell would hold the IBF hostage...........and now we have Hearn stating they're worried he probably won't be 100% at 147 after moving up 13lbs.

If that's the case, don't put the medical exception in, just vacate and try to do work at 154 which I think is a horrible idea anyway. Kell needs to try and stay at 147 whatever way he can and if he can't make it and stay healthy take a couple of big money fights, and retire.

BTW, at this point Spence beats Brook, I'm debating on whether there would be a TKO win, but I think Spence wins that fight 8-4 or 7-5, I don't think he will easily win, but I don't see him losing that fight at all. Errol has that dog inside of him, Kell's shown it at times, but he's not hungrier than Errol.

roy jones jr. is the perfect example of your post. he went to HW to fight john ruiz then came back down for tarver and was a corpes

Exactly! Chris Byrd came down and was knocked out by a journeyman Light heavyweight and Dawson came down and was knocked out by Ward who never stops anyone and the list goes on and on about fighters who lowered their punch resistance and aged by coming back down from a higher division.

That said, i still don't think he'll go back to 147. 154 is right for him.
No way in hell is he making 147 since he struggled for a number of fights to make 147 to the point of being drained. 154 or higher is where he will be, count on that.

Only an absolute imbecile would believe Brook is scared/ducking Spence

Brook just jumped up from 147 to fight GGG at 160 - No catch weight no nuttin, bring it on.

But he scared of a small Errol Spence? The prospect? Boxing fans in a nutshell. Brook wouldn't give a crap who he's fighting as he has proved already.

He's 30 or so years old ,he needs big fights. Spence is not that big, but it's a good stay-busy fight that probably one of the big networks would pick up and Brook would get 75% which he'd laugh all the way to the bank with after splattering Spence in 4 rounds.

And then we'll hear how Spence wasn't really that good - exactly the same as Porter.

After fully recovering, bring on Canelo at 154.
