I'm not so sure about those who are saying that this is a 'play' by Tyson. He is clearly suffering the symptoms of bipolar disorder.
In the lead up to, and probably therefore during, the Klitschko fight Tyson appeared quite clearly to be in a cataclysmic manic phase - the grandiosity, risk taking, feeling of invincibility (he would have totally believed his words all the way through), bizarre behaviour etc etc are marked. It's amazing that a period of mania was played out so openly in front of so many people without anybody really bringing it to the wider public's attention.
I guess it was inevitable that, for somebody struggling to regulate mood, Tyson would end up in the significant depression we are seeing right now. You have to accept the 'entertaining' period AS WELL AS the current issues as part-and-parcel of Tyson (or 'his condition'; if it'possible to separate the two things).
My question would be whether it's ethical for us to allow Tyson to be playing himself out in front of the World's eyes in either stage of his condition. Many people do enjoy gawping at the behaviour associated with his highs... much in the same way, presumably, that people in the 1800s/early 1900s might have paid to see a parade of psychotic hallucinating individuals lined up in an asylum. Is that ok?
I'm sure Tyson would love to be on a high for every fight. Bipolar patients often report feeling transcendence to a state of utter self-assuredness, feeling utterly at one with reality, and experience increased creativity and skill in tasks being performed. If all of this is channeled well enough, they are able to perform amazing things. Look in to the many famous artists, musicians etc who could be categorised as manic depressive. In Tyson's case he was able to become heavy weight world champion alongside/with/because of/despite his condition (though I'm not comparing Tyson's sporting prowess as being equivalent to Van Gogh's painting!).
An interesting point for me is how all of this will now play out. I'm not sure he'll be able to continue boxing twice a year (nor of how sanctioning bodies will manage this) if he can't, with help, begin to regulate his mood shifts to a more consistently stable level. Should governing bodies get involved in protecting a fighter who's employment as a professional sportsman potentially becomes threatened by a mental health difficulty?
Honestly just sounds like a guy who got too famous too quickly and couldn't handle it. Leading up to Wlad 1 he had 0 pressure. Wlad had the pressure. Now the tables are turned all the pressure was on Fury and I just don't think he's ever had to go through that.
I honestly think the guy is a bit of a wanker but I do understand the pressure being too much. Pressure does crazy things to people.
How can people still question this mans condition and motives? He should be pulled out of the spotlight whilst this is sorted out. There's nobody in his team with the sense to put a stop to the Twitter and media stuff it seems. It is a circus show but it's doing the man no good.
Joseph Parker to win the vacant WBO and hopefully Luiz Ortiz to win the WBA. In the real world Wlad Klitschko will likely be gifted the WBA.
I guess Its true what they say, *******s a helluva drug. Thats y i never did it and will never do it because i know i will like it. Within a year id probably be giving handjobs for crack.
For Real where is that turd? hes been hiding for weeks...he said he would renounce the Gypsy Queen if he was exposed as a fraud. denium
He told me he was going to throw himself in the Thames river, I did not believe him but I read reports a man was found floating face down with a cactus plant in his rectum, I suspect it may have been Denium but I was unsure if to tell the rest of the forum.

Then he has honored our bet ( the cactus part ) but now I feel bad for this ******.
In amongst the bull****, the part where he talks about the February 2015 test and not being banned before the Klitschko fight...he has a point there.
The way I see it, he either tested positive and for some reason they didn't publish the findings, or it's a manufactured positive test. Either way, UKAD is looking either incompetent or corrupt or both.
The same can be said about the British Boxing board if they knew about the results.
Has nothing to do with your original statement about why people want to see him stripped. I already explained that to you.
Regarding the rest, if his victory had been more convincing people might think of it that way but there's a lot of questions about whether the first fight was more Wlad having a lapse than Fury looking brilliant. The rematch was the perfect chance for Fury to show everyone he's the real deal. The way it's been playing out though, I don't think being lineal is giving Fury anything to lean on. People are just writing him off regardless. No one is going to be saying "But Fury is the real champ!"
Especially not when he's refusing drug tests.
I don't know how much more convincing. He outboxed Wlad all night. And won 8-9 rounds easily. And the rounds you could give Wlad were close. The rematch has more to do with Wlad having lost his title. He deserves a rematch based on that, and how good a champion he's been. Had Wlad beaten Tyson in the manner that Tyson beat him, there would be ZERO demand for a rematch.
there hasn't been an undisputed champion since lennox lewis. you must not know what words mean.
Unless you're a belt freak, Wlad was THEE UNDISPUTED heavyweight champ. There wasn't more undisputed chanp in boxing. The only fighter that could lay claim to a lineal claim of the true heavyweight title during Wlad's reign was Vitali. And the second Vitali retired, Wlad became truly undisputed. Belts don't make you undisputed, dominance does.
