Dude, I'm talking about the belts. Putting vacated belts around other guys' waists doesn't change that fact that Tyson Fury ended Wladimir Klitschko's title reign. And until he's beaten, or gone for a significant amount of time, he has a lineal claim to the true heavyweight title.

Regarding the rest, if his victory had been more convincing people might think of it that way but there's a lot of questions about whether the first fight was more Wlad having a lapse than Fury looking brilliant. The rematch was the perfect chance for Fury to show everyone he's the real deal. The way it's been playing out though, I don't think being lineal is giving Fury anything to lean on. People are just writing him off regardless. No one is going to be saying "But Fury is the real champ!"
Especially not when he's refusing drug tests.
