Gmr
If there's grappling, McGregor has a chance as long as he can catch Mayweather. If it's fists, feet and elbows but no grappling, McGregor will have absolutely no chance. McGregor's boxing skills are below those of a journeyman pro boxer. With those little MMA gloves Mayweather would flatten him in quick time (and would probably break his hand in the process).Comment

UFC President Dana White was never under the impression that retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) would actually face UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

the only thing funnier than this absurd fight, is Dana White thinking that he will have any say whatsoever over any aspect of that potential matchup LMAO
he would be paid a fee to STFU, thats about itComment

I doubt this ever happening but if it's happening it's gotta be boxing
the one who dictates (especially in a case like this where two fighters from different sports involved so no belts and no mandatories, etc...) is the draw, the A side. I know that many people hates this "A side" talk cause Mayweather repeated it a billion times in his career and it gotten annoying over time but it's the truth.
The one who draws more money is the one who dictates. And Mayweather pulls more money than any UFC fighters. They need him more than he needs them. So Dana White can't make the terms if he ever wants this fight, he has to bend down for Floyd.Comment
