Probably the best way to go about things. Fury has dragged this out a year, and now it's looking more like two, which is absurd given Wladimir's age. Watch Fury come back next summer making noise about wanting to fight Klitschko again.

It sucks that Wladimir can't avenge the loss, but Fury's the one who blew it.

Yeah no point chasing a lunatic for a rematch when he doesn't want it or isn't fit to fight.. Move on & fight the top guys under each org for the vacant belts..

Vegas, interesting development. Hopefully it comes off but I'm not optimistic I don't believe Hearn wants it and is just using it as a smokescreen to duck Parker.

So is he going to fight King Kong if not Joshua?!?! Wlad is old, so something needs to happen pretty quickly if he wants to reassert himself as the best heavyweight out there right now. And before anyone responds with something ridiculous, I'm talking about the best right now. Wlad has the deepest resume and is a HOF, but that doesn't mean that he is the best now given his age. Let's make these fights happen.

Vlad actually stated previously that 'he will wait for as long as it takes' for Fury to come around... But Boente is not the man to mess around like that, we have seen it before also.

Big Gypsy's bizarre reign probably affects Wlad more than Big Gypsy himself....I hate when fighters put other fighters careers on hold with postponement and other preventable bs

Understandably, really. Fury will be banned for a considerable time, and Wlad is nearing the end of his career.

FUnny because Haye, chisora and Wladmir himself all pulled out fights with Fury previously. I wonder if this is his way of getting some revenge?
