Says the guy who PICKED Vargas> fighting CrawfordI don't know 1 Fan who wanted to see Pacquiao vs Vargas> Pacquiao vs Crawford, Broner or Garcia. Also if it is not about the Money, why not take less to give Broner or Garcia the money they want so you can give the fans a Quality Match Up!
Stop with the "IT IS ABOUT THE FANS" BS, the Mayweather fight did nothing for Pacquiao besides get him out of his Tax Issues so he has no choice but to fight on for the Money. It is Always about the Money for ALL OF THEM! Not even sparring Partners fight for Free lolLast edited by sicko; 10-04-2016, 07:23 PM.

floyd, is a shame for boxing...within a few years will be remembered yes, but for what reason? if he never have had epic battles like the real legends?tyson, chavez, duran, leonard. etc.. he will be remembered for being a hugger a coward and boring fighter

Of course numbers lie.
How many times have we seen boxers from other countries come to the US with great records and get exposed. Just recently Alexander Brand was 25-1 when he fought Ward and Liam Smith was 23-0-1 when he fought Alvarez. I think both guys showed that numbers do lie because despite their records both guys were hardly top 10 fighters.
As for CompuBox it scores jabs and non jabs. Every punch that's not a jab is considered a power punch. No distinction is made between a hard punch and a punch that barely lands.

Firstly, "numbers don't like" is an adage, i.e. a general statement, not an absolute one. There are times when the raw data and statistics don't tell the whole story.
Secondly, the last paragraph even admits this.
Thirdly, someone playing it as safe as possible and potshotting their way to a boring decision is not the most impressive display of boxing skills to me.
Fourthly, if you're gonna quote my post and try to refute it, then at least do it in context.

If Pacquiao's concern were the fans we wouldn't have gotten Rios, Algieri and now Vargas, just stop.

Pac's choice for a final bout for next year, wether Froid roid steps up to the plate for his own good, or his final fight will be with a viciously young hungry lion.
Stay tuned.

This video alone so much error in biased compubox clicking for the home town boy. Truth is out! Pac outlanded IV runner.
#This gif shows how inaccurate compubox is and how the eyes can be fooled into thinking who hit who in real time. If you blink you won't catch the punch that really connected in this exchange. Guess who got one in? Yep, it's not floyd it's Pac as always. The right jab went in straight to Floyd's jaw. While again Floyd had to foul and push Pac's head so he can stop Pac from heating up. And as usual the hometown boy gets the point in the compubox.
Compublind, that's another way of putting this manipulation of perception.
Floyd's cowardly excuse for boxing ***** that night, was an exercise of how to rip off boxing fans with their hard earned money, set in the biggest stage of boxing ever.
The architect of the art of run and hug tactics is a recipe for an energy diffusing bore fest fight that should not be associated with the legends of the game who has given us treasures of epic battles to enjoy.
Sadly, Floyd's performance was not one of those. His was designed to create an illusion that running and hugging is enough to win a bout as long as Vegas was on his side nothing was impossible. As we now have witnessed. The biggest sports heist in history happened.
# If someone needs to redeem himself it's Floyd
