He can get a 90 medical extension. They gave him 10 days after the GGG fight to decide if he wants to vacate or defend. He kept the belt so his decision is to defend. Dropping the belt would be a shitty thing to day having made Spence wait all this time only to go thru the process all over again with another fighter.
